The EU funded AccelWater project organizes a workshop on Circular Economy and Industrial Symbiosis on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at 10:00, in the city of Patras.
In the context of the event will be presented the strategies and opportunities of European Union for the greek industries (Industrial Symbiosis & Industry 5.0), the regions and cities (Circular Economy and Green Transition), while the project’s research results and innovations will be highlighted.
AccelWater aims to accelerate the water circularity in the food and beverage industrial areas characterized by high levels of water use, such as brewery, dairy, tomato, pig meat processing, and fish industries. The aim of the project is to develop, integrate and demonstrate water reclaiming and reusing technologies, waste valorization and energy recovery and reuse technologies and also to demonstrate modern ICT solutions for optimizing food and beverage production with focus on water and environmental sustainability.
