MaaS Alliance White Paper on Corporate Mobility as a Service (CMaaS)

A White Paper on Corporate Mobility as a Service (CMaaS) was published by the MaaS Alliance, the European Alliance for Mobility as a Service (MaaS). The paper explores how companies can integrate MaaS solutions to improve employee mobility and reduce their environmental footprint. From I-SENSE Group, researcher Katia Pagle (ISM Division), is participating in these activities.

Key Points of CMaaS:

  • Flexibility & Adaptability: MaaS solutions offer flexible transportation options (such as public transport, bicycles, shared vehicles, etc.) that can be tailored to meet the commuting needs of a company’s employees.

  • Cost Reduction: The integration of MaaS can reduce transportation costs and improve a company’s efficiency (e.g., by lowering expenses on company vehicles and fuel).

  • Environmental Benefits: Using sustainable transport modes helps reduce carbon emissions, aiding companies in lowering their environmental footprint and achieving sustainability goals.

  • Technology: Digital platforms play a central role in implementing MaaS, as they integrate various transport services and allow users to plan and manage their journeys more easily and efficiently.

ICCS   is a member of the MaaS Alliance and is represented by our team, I-SENSE. The main goal of the organization is to create a unified and open market for Mobility as a Service (MaaS) and to fully develop MaaS services. Over the ten years of its activity—from its founding in 2015 at the 15th ITS World Congress to today—the MaaS Alliance has brought together key stakeholders (public authorities, transport bodies, service providers, academia, and research institutions) to eliminate barriers and create an open, interoperable mobility ecosystem.
