For a second year, the ISENSE Group of the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS) – NTUA, proudly supports the students of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and the IEEE NTUA Robotics and Automation Society (RAS) student team. Beeing the Gold Sponsors of the RoboTalk event — an outstanding event dedicated to robotics innovation- we had the opportunity to participate in an outstanding event last week.
ISENSE’s Technical Director, Dr Giannis Karaseitanidis, presented the work of ISENSE and ICCS, highlighting opportunities for thesis projects and internships within the team. Our researcher, Savvas Sifnaios delivered a very engaging presentation on the role of computer vision in robotics, sparking new discussions with students around the applications of artificial vision.
The program also featured Lars Rasmussen, co-founder of Google Maps, who gave a dynamic and inspiring talk, encouraging students to pursue their dreams with courage and creativity.
We are proud to employ (both former and current) members of the RAS team through internships. Their energy and ingenuity give us hope for the future of robotics — and beyond.
