I-SENSE Group of ICCS participated in the recent 1st Automation & Robotics Expo and Conference in Athens with a busy booth! From 12 to 14 April, our researchers participated in the exhibition and Conference with demos, panels and sessions on recent scientific outcomes and research results, pilots and projects. It was a fantastic opportunity to meet our friends and partners in person and share innovative ideas and solutions! In a field that holds great promises for the Greek reality, we keenly observed the audience’s strong interest and engaged in valuable discussions surrounding our research results, demos, robotic technologies for smart industrial processing and material separation, as well as automations and tools enabling efficient warehouse management, and more. More specifically, in booth E22 at Athens Metropolitan Expo
- we presented results in the frame of the EU projects MASTERMINE Project, REDOL EU Project, PLASTICE, DigInTraCE EU Project, W2W .
- Innovative work with industrial line sorters that enable human-robot collaboration for waste components seperation.
- Efficient sorting solutions optimizing resource use and waste reduction eg smart bin
- The AR picking software developed by CIBOS represents a cutting-edge solution for warehouse managers and personnel, designed to streamline and enhance the efficiency of picking processes in the warehouse
Also,
- Dr Angelos Amditis, Research & Development Director of ICCS gave a speech on ‘Automation & Robotics in Logistics: Cutting Edge Research at ICCS’
- I-SENSE Group organized a panel on innovative waste management technologies with Dr Fotios Konstantinidis (I-SENSE researcher) , Christopher Ververidis (Chief Innovation Officer at HYPERTECH SA) Antonis Porichis (AI specialist, University of ESSEX), moderated by Konstantinos Kintzios,
Congratulations to all our researchers who made this a valuable experience and conveyed their enthusiasm for the technologies they develop:
