Dr Thodoris Thodoropoulos, Giorgos Hadjipavlis, Nikos Mitro and Lambros Pavlopoulos were there to showcase smart technologies such as the next generation of life Saving appliances and systems for safe and swift evacuation operations on high capacity passenger ships (SafePASS project) , robotic equipment, and advanced sensors reducing time for detection and rescue of victims trapped under debris while increasing the personal safety (CURSOR) applications that can support logistic operations through localization and navigation services (5GLOGINNOv) based on machine learning technologies. They played innovative games with the younger audience and tested newly developed software applications (such as a wristband with lifesaving properties).
Congratulations to our researchers for taking part in this event and for showcasing the impact of ISENSE’s team work on people’s daily lives.
