H4C Community Webinar Highlights: THESEUS Insights on Waste Valorization and Digital Tools

We are very happy to share that the Hubs4Circularity (H4C) Community of Practice Webinar, titled “Regional Matchmaking, MFA & DPP for Sophisticated Waste Valorization and Upcycling: Approaches and EU Project Experience from THESEUS”, took place online on 28 April 2026.

THESEUS is the first Hub for Circularity in Greece, aiming to turn circular innovation into practice, scaling circular solutions for cities, industry and regions.  Learn all about the project at https://www.theseus-h4c.eu/ and stay tuned for more upcoming activities from the Hubs4Circularity Community of Practice.

The webinar brought together experts and stakeholders to explore innovative approaches to regional matchmaking and advanced tools supporting circular economy practices.

Juliana Queiroz from ZEDO e.V. opened and moderated the session while Dr. Babis Manousiadis Project Manager of THESEUS from our research team presented how regional dimensions can be effectively integrated into resource matchmaking digital tools to enhance regional resilience and sustainability with a focus on Regional Circular Economy (RCE). The session concluded with an interactive Q&A discussion.

In the second part, Dr. Lucyna Łękawska-Andrinopoulou Project Manager at I-SENSE Group, presented key methodologies from the THESEUS project, focusing on Material Flow Analysis (MFA) and Digital Product Passport (DPP) approaches. Her presentation highlighted how these tools enable sophisticated waste valorization and upcycling processes. The session concluded with a final Q&A and closing remarks.
