Two innovative projects, THESEUS which is coordinated by our team and REDOL, joined forces on the 7th of May in Athens at Serafeio complex (and online) to share knowledge and exchange ideas towards Circularity.
Along with THESEUS & REDOL, four more research projects supported and participated in the initiative, offering their perspectives and knowledge: PLASTICE, United Circles, IS2H4C and SYMSITES projects.
A great opportunity to exchange knowledge, explore synergies and connect different circular pathways across Europe, from urban waste and industrial symbiosis to regional circularity and sustainable value chains.
The discussion brought together Kostas Chatziioannou, leader of the Clean Industrial & Energy Systems division at I-SENSE Group, Marianna Lena Kambanou, Dušan Jakovljević and Chiara Coluccia, Diego Redondo Taberner (CIRCE – Centro Tecnológico, REDOL), Chirstina Stefani (PLASTICE project) and Charalampos Manousiadis – Project Manager of THESEUS.
This exchange of research developments, knowledge and outcomes builds on an already strong connection between the two projects who revisited their dialogue in a more mature phase to make circularity more concrete across Europe.
