How is the European Charter for Researchers put into practice across European institutions?
How does it influence researchers’ day-to-day reality, working conditions, and career development prospects?
The Innovation & Networking Office of the I-SENSE Group at the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS) – NTUA, invites you to participate in a new survey aiming to capture real experiences, views, and practices related to the implementation of the European Charter for Researchers in institutions across Europe. The survey takes place within the framework of the European project INSIGHT (Empowering Early Research Careers Across Europe).
The Charter represents an important European framework that aspires to enhance research quality, professional integrity, and the creation of fairer, more open, and sustainable working conditions for researchers.
The survey is addressed to individuals who are familiar with institutional practices related to research careers and the Charter, including university and research organisation staff, professionals in HR and research development roles, researcher support services, as well as individuals active in policy and related fields.
Estimated completion time: approximately 15–20 minutes
Participation is entirely voluntary, and you may withdraw at any time.

Your contribution is highly valuable. Your responses will support the research conducted within the INSIGHT project and help shape more meaningful and realistic recommendations for the future of research careers in Europe.
The INSIGHT project is coordinated by EIT Digital (Belgium) and implemented by the following partners: Technische Universität Graz (Austria), Fundación CTAG (Spain), EIT Manufacturing (France), RE:LAB Srl (Italy), Fraunhofer Gesellschaft (Germany), ICCS (Greece), UEFISCDI (Romania), RAPIV (Bulgaria), Asocijacija za Napredak Nauke i Tehnologije (Bosnia and Herzegovina), and the University Industry Innovation Network (Netherlands).
Through INSIGHT, ICCS enhances its position as an important supporter of innovation, encouraging teamwork among academia, businesses, and government, and helping to create a more connected and sustainable European Research Area.
