The 5G-MOBIX, an EC project driving the latest developments in 5G-enabled connected and automated mobility, pioneers and organizes the 1st Greek-Turkish Cross-Border Corridor Live Demonstration Event on the 10th of May from 10.00 to 17.00 EEST in both Greek and Turkish territories (Kipoi and Ipsala).
The 5G-MOBIX trials have been assessing the added value of 5G connectivity for Connected and Automated Mobility (CAM) services and functionalities in cross-border conditions. Its trial sites include two Cross-Border Corridors (Greece-Turkey and Spain-Portugal) and six local trial sites in France, Germany, Netherlands, Finland, China and South Korea, bringing complementary insights to the cross-border issues trialled at the Corridors.
At the Greek-Turkish demonstration event, 5G-MOBIX will present its latest innovative results and showcase the impact of its tested solutions. The ‘See What I see’ functionality for trucks driving in platoon formation as well as remote vehicle inspection, predictive risk assessment and automated truck routing into customs area will be demonstrated, for the first time in a pioneer event, over the border between Kipoi and İpsala.
