FARM360TECH is a European project that promotes the digital and green transition in agriculture through technologies such as IoT, AI, and blockchain, aiming at sustainable development and the creation of new interregional value chains within agricultural ecosystems. Through partnerships, training programs, and the participation of various regions, the project enhances the competitiveness of SMEs, reduces environmental impact, and creates new opportunities for commercial exploitation. It leverages pilot actions in different European regions to test innovative solutions and prepare technologies for wide-scale deployment. It supports the EU Green Deal and the “Farm2Fork” Strategy, making a meaningful contribution to the resilience and sustainability of agriculture.
The project will be implemented by the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) with the participation of the I-SENSE GROUP. The Earth and Space Systems Intelligence division will contribute to the technical part of the project (integration of UAV technologies and IoT sensors, development of artificial intelligence, and data analysis).
The Innovation and Networking Office will contribute through capacity-building module development, training and demonstration workshops, knowledge exchange, dissemination strategy and networking, impact assessment, and IP management.
