Theodoros Giannakas holds a PhD in Computer Science from Sorbonne University, an MSc in Wireless Communication from the University of Southampton, and a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Patras.

In the past, he has worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at EURECOM, and as a Senior Research Engineer in Mathematical and Algorithmics Lab, Huawei Paris Research Center. His research focuses on applying Optimization and Machine Learning on problems that arise in networking and remote sensing. Currently, he serves as the Technical Coordinator of the Earth Observation group.
