Orestis Sampson holds a BSc degree from the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens where he found of great interest the Computer Graphics field. He completed his studies with the thesis “Simulation of an endoscopic camera using a haptic feedback device” having support from the ICCS group.
Following that, he worked for Nokia Networks as a Software Developer where he participated in a feature development agile team for the Core LTE components. In order to continue pursuing growth in the Computer Graphics field, he has completed the Computer Game Engineering MSc course at Newcastle University. The course was completed with the project “Smoke Simulation using GPGPU programming” the study for which, combined OpenGL, shading techniques and parallel programming.
