Eleni Matinopoulou has received a Bachelor degree from the Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Peloponnese and holds a Master’s degree in Digital heritage from the University of York.
Since 2021, she has been actively involved in numerous national and European research projects, taking on responsibilities ranging from project management and proposal writing to the design of content integrated into digital and virtual cultural heritage experiences. Her research field focusses on multisensory and interactive cultural experiences that leverage innovative technologies to enhance social inclusion. Her contribution to articles in scientific journals and international conferences highlights how the digitization of cultural heritage can foster social engagement, create learning opportunities and broaden accessibility.
Ms Eleni Matinopoulou currently serves as an Innovation Project Manager at the Innovation and Network Office at the I-SENSE Group of the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS).
