Dr. Marinos Charalambides
Scientific Project Manager

Dr. Marinos Charalambides received a BEng in Electronic and Electrical Engineering (First Class Honours), a MSc in Communications Networks and Software (Distinction), and a PhD in Network Management, all from the University of Surrey, UK, in 2001, 2002 and 2009, respectively. Prior to joining ICCS he carried out research at Huawei Technologies (2020-2022), University College London (2008-2020), and Surrey University (2006-2007). Since 2003 he has been working on key research challenges in the area of network and service management and has made significant scientific contributions through his involvement in several European and UK national research projects.

Dr. Charalambides was the recipient of the network and service management Young Professional Award in 2016, he was the lead TPC co-chair of IFIP/IEEE IM 2017 and the general co-chair of IFIP/IEEE CNSM 2022, he was on the editorial board of IEEE TNSM for four years, and since 2019 he is serving as the vice-chair of IEEE CNOM.
