Dr Ioannis Bellos is a Scientific Project Manager and Researcher at the ISENSE group of ICCS. He holds an MEng in Mining and Metallurgical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and a PhD in Materials Engineering from the University of Manchester, focusing on the characterization of high-value aerospace components produced via Metal Additive. He has also worked on the exploitation of research project outputs, primarily in the fields of sustainability and circularity, facilitating the introduction of novel technologies to the market.
