About Dr Giorgos Dritsakis

Dr Giorgos Dritsakis is a Research Project Manager at the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS), National Technical University of Athens (NTUA).

He has a PhD in Auditory Implants from the University of Southampton (UK), a degree in Linguistics from the University of Athens and a MA in Linguistics from Leiden University (the Netherlands).

He has worked in health technology research for 12 years mainly in the area of hearing loss and medical devices but also on dementia and diabetes. He has previously worked on the H2020 EVOTION project (2017-2020) on the use big data for public health policy making for hearing loss on behalf of University College London (UCL).

His research interests include hearing loss, eHealth and patient-reported outcome measures. He has published 14 journal papers and has presented at a number of international conferences. He is also reviewer for academic Audiology journals.

He has been a member of the i-SENSE Group since June 2023.
