Dr. Anargyros J. Roumeliotis received his diploma from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National Technical University of Athens, in 2014 with a grade 8.92/10 (top 6.5%). He then pursued and received his PhD degree in January 2022, having a 3-year research scholarship from ELKE NTUA and awarded with the Dimitris N. Chorafas Prize for his PhD thesis in 2022. Furthermore, he received the MSc degree in Data Science from the Athens University of Economics and Business with grade 9.60/10 (First in Class) in 2020.
During his PhD he studied algorithms for the optimization of performance of wireless networks, such as cognitive, D2D and satellite systems. Then his interests were turned to artificial intelligence and he focuses on its application in different sectors, such as the health monitoring (cooperated with National Kapodistrian University of Athens) and wireless networks (cooperated with European Space Agency). Specifically, various models have been studied for anomaly detection and prediction of time-series data.
