Workshop on Co-Creating Solutions for Road Safety and Sustainable Mobility in Trikala

The CAMBER project is continuing its stakeholder engagement activities in Trikala, Greece, with the successful organisation of the second of three planned stakeholder workshops for the Trikala Pilot. Held on 20 September 2026 as part of European Mobility Week 2026, the workshop marked another important milestone in establishing a local Community of Practice. It was co-organised by the ISENSE Group, which leads CAMBER’s pilot in Trikala, and e-Trikala.

The workshop opened with a welcome speech by Vasilena Mitsiadi (e-Trikala), followed by an introduction to the CAMBER project by Katia Pagle (ICCS). Pinelopi Alexiou (ICCS) then led an interactive activity on understanding and improving public space using quality indicators. After a briefing on how to observe and use the CAMBER app, participants headed out on an exploratory bike ride, then returned for a short break and mini interviews.

The workshop closed with a presentation of the dashboard showing where the collected data goes, along with a training session on using the dashboard and managing data, delivered by Vangelis Tsougiannis (ICCS). George Vallas (e-Trikala) gave the closing remarks.

The feedback and observations collected during the workshop will play an important role in validating CAMBER’s innovative approach to integrating road asset and safety management.
