Our Group proudly participated in the New European Bauhaus Festival 2026 in Brussels, contributing through its leading role in two Horizon Europe projects that are shaping more sustainable, inclusive and resilient communities.
As day-to-day Communication Manager of PALIMPSEST, our colleague Irini Krimpa represented the project at the NEB Fair 2026, presenting the project’s inspiring journey and legacy after more than three years of co-creation, cultural innovation and climate resilience. Together with the PALIMPSEST consortium, visitors explored key project outcomes. The stand attracted the attention of Ekaterina Zaharieva, European Commissioner for Startups, Research and Innovation, Enrico Giovannini, Scientific Director of ASviS and former Italian Minister of Labour and Social Policies, PALIMPSEST Project Officer Laura Kasnauskaite and former Project Officer Melpomeni Vyzika who discussed with the PALIMPSEST team, reflecting on the project’s outcomes and long-term impact.
At the same time, representing RURNBANIVE, Irini Krimpa organized and delivered a dedicated pitch presentation along with Michael Koutsiaras from the Agricultural University of Athens within the NEBULE Cluster stand at the NEB Fair, introducing RURBANIVE‘s vision for empowering rural communities through social innovation, digital technologies and nature-based solutions. The presentation fostered meaningful exchanges with the fellow NEBULE projects and opened new opportunities for collaboration across the NEB ecosystem.
The Festival was an excellent opportunity to engage with researchers, policymakers, innovators and European institutions, celebrate the achievements of PALIMPSEST, and strengthen the growing network of NEB projects for RURBANIVE, working towards a more sustainable, beautiful and inclusive future.
