I-SENSE coordinates CHOICE, a new project set to create an impact on the global food chain

We are thrilled to announce the official launch of the groundbreaking CHOICE  project under the Horizon Europe initiative! Coordinated by I-SENSE Group/ICCS, this visionary project, unveiled during its first online kick-off event on November 24th, has gathered an impressive consortium of 16 partners from diverse backgrounds across 4 continents. The consortium includes 1 NGO, 6 SMEs, 2 Academic Institutions, 5 Research Organizations, and 2 Cooperatives and Producer Associations, all united to spearhead transformative changes in the global food system.

At the helm of this endeavor is Dr. Angelos Amditis, the Director of Research and Development of ICCS/NTUA and the Scientific Manager of Isense Group, along with a stellar team comprising Dr. Tina Katika, Nikolaos Tantaroudas, Ilias Karahalios, Marilena Xarcha, and Dimitris Maragos, each contributing their expertise to drive the project’s success.

The Choice project, spanning 36 months and generously funded with nearly 5 million euros, is poised to revolutionize our approach to climate change. Through innovative applications and services related to food consumption, production, and supply chains, it aims to cultivate a new generation of environmentally conscious citizens, communities, and professionals. The ultimate goal? To amplify influence, spark dialogue, and catalyze a positive cascade of climate-conscious choices within the food system.

This initiative represents a pivotal milestone in our collective journey toward a sustainable future. ISENSE Group/ICCS takes immense pride in steering the Choice Program, a testament to our commitment to pioneering solutions that address the pressing challenges of our time.

Stay tuned for updates, milestones, and inspiring stories as we embark on this expedition together!
