The spirit of teamwork and innovation stepped beyond the lab this October, as the I-SENSE team participated in the Spetses Mini Marathon 2025, one of Greece’s most inspiring sporting events, as a activity organized in the frame of I-SENSE annual Conference 2025 (9-12 October).
More than 50 researchers took part in the races, making I-SENSE the team with the largest group participation in the event — a reflection of our unity, energy, and shared drive to challenge limits both in science and in life.
Running the 5 km under the motto, “Run Beyond Limits, Innovate Beyond Borders” our team carried the same determination that fuels our research — persistence, collaboration, and the belief that every step forward matters. Beyond the miles, the event was a celebration of connection: colleagues became teammates, the coastline of Spetses became a shared track, and innovation found its rhythm in movement. Several of our researchers achieved remarkable individual results, proving that our team thrives not only in research but also in endurance, balance, and collective spirit.
