EVENTS Final Event: From CCAM Research to Real Roads

After 3.5 years of intensive CCAM research, EVENTS project is reaching its conclusion — and we are excited to invite you to our Final Event, where project results meet real-world validation!

The EVENTS Final Event, will take place on Wednesday, 25 February 2026, 10:30-16:00 CET, in Delft, the Netherlands, and online. This initiative particularly encourages the involvement of any interested stakeholder to delve into the latest developments in the Connected Cooperative Automated Mobility research field, deepen their knowledge, and connect with top experts.

EVENTS is an Horizon Europe flagship project in the field of Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM), coordinated by I-SENSE Group of ICCS that brought together a complementary consortium of 12 partners from 6 EU countries and UK.  Its goal was to deal with complex situations where the normal operation of the Connected and Automated Vehicle (CAV) is close to be disrupted (e.g., due to dynamic traffic changes, harsh weather/light conditions, unstructured road, imperfect data, sensor/communication failures, etc.). EVENTS has developed a robust and resilient perception and decision-making system designed to address critical CCAM challenges. When system performance cannot meet the required quality or reliability, an enhanced Minimum Risk Manoeuvre is automatically triggered—strengthening safety and trust in automated mobility.

What to expect during the Final Event:

  • Presentation of project results and insights;
  • PC-based demonstrations;
  • Real-life vehicle demos (only for on-site attendees);
  • Q&A and networking;
  • Complimentary coffee & lunch;

The event is free of charge though registration is required to confirm your on-site participation (and secure your badge) and receive the connection details 2 days before the event.

We look forward to welcoming you in Delft or online for a day of innovation, discussion, and hands-on demonstrations shaping the future of automated mobility!
