CiROCCO convened its 7th Stakeholders Workshop in Cyprus on 15 January 2026, hosted at the Municipality of Idalion.
The CiROCCO project is coordinated by the I-SENSE group of ICCS, and its day-to-day manager Chrysoula Papathanasiou, PhD, travelled to Cyprus to represent the coordinating team, presenting CiROCCO’s objectives and progress on behalf of ICCS.
Participants received updates on the Cyprus Pilot methodology, results and impacts, work on improving geographical coverage and replication guidelines, and activities on capacity building, training and policy outreach, alongside presentations on potential synergies with Horizon Europe projects ISMED-Clim and Symphony.
A dedicated World Café / focus-group segment gathered structured stakeholder input across public authorities, local authorities/municipalities, citizens/NGOs/other stakeholders, and academic/research institutions, followed by a plenary presentation of key findings and discussion.
