An innovative Living Lab in Athens on Urban Mobility in the frame of PISTIS project

The PISTIS Athens Living Lab : Mobility and Urban Planning Ecosystem was successfully held on 3 March 2026 at 10:00 (GR time), bringing together more than 50 participants from across the mobility, urban planning, tourism, and IT sectors.

PISTIS is a European funded project that aims to develop a reference platform for the sharing/trading and monetisation of the proprietary data of an organization, guaranteeing a secure, trusted and controlled exchange and usage of data assets and data-driven intelligence. The project will advance the available techniques and technologies, such as federated data discovery and sharing, DLTs, data non-fungible tokens (NFTs), AI-driven data quality assessment and monetisation, to build trust among stakeholders and assuage their concerns.

The workshop was organised within the framework of the PISTIS project and aimed to demonstrate the innovative tools developed by the project and highlight their benefits for urban planning, mobility for citizens and visitors, entrepreneurship and tourism-related businesses in Athens.

During the interactive session, participants had the opportunity to test the PISTIS Marketplace hands-on and provide valuable feedback based on their expertise. The lively discussions and active engagement significantly enriched the exchange of ideas and perspectives. The session was conducted in Greek.

Our team was represented by Konstantinos Fokeas.
