Your Role:
As a member of the i-SENSE group you will be developing innovative solutions for a broad range of domains.
Requirements
- University Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- Excellent knowledge of at least one backend development framework
- Excellent knowledge of databases (Relational, NoSQL, Key-Value)
- Excellent knowledge of middle ware solutions (e.g. MQTT, Kafka)
- Understanding of Big Data frameworks
- Advanced knowledge of English (oral & written)
Desired Skills and Knowledge
- Software versioning tools (git, etc)
- Knowledge of Python and C/C++
- Understanding of debugging methods and tools
- Understanding of ML development frameworks (Keras, Pytorch)
- Knowledge of system design and architecture methods and tools
Personal Characteristics
- Analytical skills to solve complex problems with creativity and attention to detail
- Highly self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies and investigate solutions
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
- Strong desire to learn and accept new challenges
- Capable to communicate and collaborate with multi-disciplinary research groups in the context of international research and innovation projects
- Flexible to travel abroad for short term periods
