Your Role
We are looking for a self-motivated, experienced junior developer to join our team. Let yourself be part of the leading multi-disciplined research team of Extended Reality enthusiasts. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects at the forefront of innovation in this field. You will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, and implementation of web-based applications, utilizing technologies such as React.js, Angular, and Node.js.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 2+ years of experience as a front-end developer
- Strong understanding of web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and web frameworks (React.js, Angular)
- Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices
- Experience with Git, or other development tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Upper-Intermediate English and better
Good to Have
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong desire to learn new technologies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of system design and architecture
- Experience with end-user requirements and their association with system requirements
- Hands-on experience with software development, VR/AR (Unreal, Unity), web development, databases, etc., or VR/AR asset creation will be considered a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of web-based applications
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Troubleshoot and debug applications
- Stay up-to-date with new technology trends
- Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned with industry best practices

- Analytical skills to solve complex problems with creativity and attention to detail
- Highly self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies and investigate solutions
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
- Strong desire to learn and accept new challenges
- Capable to communicate and collaborate with multi-disciplinary research groups in the context of international research and innovation projects
- Flexible to travel abroad for short term periods
