We are pleased to announce that Dr. Angelos Amditis, ERTICO’s Chairman – also R&D Director of ICCS and Head of the I-SENSE Group- has been appointed as a member of the Programme Committee of the 5th International Symposium on Freeway and Tollway Operations (ISFO 2027), which will take place in Melbourne, Australia.
ISFO is a globally recognised forum that brings together leading experts, practitioners, and policy-makers to advance the state of the art in freeway and tollway operations, with a strong focus on innovation, efficiency, and sustainability in mobility systems.
Dr. Amditis’ participation reflects active role in shaping international dialogue and fostering collaboration across the Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) community. The upcoming symposium is expected to further strengthen global cooperation, bringing together diverse perspectives to jointly address the challenges of inclusive and sustainable mobility.
Notably, the international community of ISFO series, last July gathered in Athens and in the ‘Traffic Management International Symsposium’ which was successfully hosted by ICCS. I-SENSE group played a key role in bringing together the global ITS community, reinforcing Greece’s position as an active contributor to international mobility innovation.
