ICCS Role:

    Partner

The vision of NURISH is to support the transformative transition of rural areas towards climate resilient futures through regenerative practices in community building, economic development, multilevel governance, and climate adaptation planning. Combined with technological, circular and social innovations, nature-based approaches offer regenerative perspectives to rural areas and turn them into powerful Climate Resilience Hubs and Nodes. NURISH facilitates the implementation and transfer of regenerative solutions through a structured approach for climate adaptation planning, knowledge exchange and innovation adoption.

The application of the Regenerative Rural Resilience Framework (RRRF) guides the demonstration of solutions, while the reapplication of tested solutions in other rural communities is achieved through the deployment of the Reapplication Framework (RAF). NURISH is structured along 4 pillars: (1) Empowering skills and capacities, (2) Co-created systemic change, (3) Transformative nature-based innovation and nature-based economy, and (4) Digital tools for Regenerative Rural Resilience.
