The I-SENSE Group of ICCS is delighted to announce its participation in the new project INSIGHT (Institutional Networks for Strengthening Innovation and Growth of Early Research Careers), officially launched on 1 September 2025 and running until 31 August 2028.
Funded by the Horizon Europe programme, the INSIGHT project aims to create and operate interconnected talent ecosystems that promote sustainable, attractive, and cross-sectoral research careers for early-stage researchers across Europe. Through targeted actions in training, mentoring, and skill development, the project seeks to bridge the gap between academic education and labour market needs, particularly in the fields of digital transition, green growth, and deep tech innovation.
ICCS leads the pilot phase of the project, which focuses on applying human-centred approaches to technological acceptance in the automotive and manufacturing sectors. Furthermore, ICCS will host the second sprint event in Greece, bringing together researchers, academics, industry representatives, and public sector actors to co-create solutions based on real market challenges.
The INSIGHT project is coordinated by EIT Digital (Belgium) and implemented by the following partners: Technische Universität Graz (Austria), Fundación CTAG (Spain), EIT Manufacturing (France), RE:LAB Srl (Italy), Fraunhofer Gesellschaft (Germany), ICCS (Greece), UEFISCDI (Romania), RAPIV (Bulgaria), Asocijacija za Napredak Nauke i Tehnologije (Bosnia and Herzegovina), and the University Industry Innovation Network (Netherlands).
Through INSIGHT, ICCS enhances its position as an important supporter of innovation, encouraging teamwork among academia, businesses, and government, and helping to create a more connected and sustainable European Research Area.
