I-SENSE Group/ICCS, as a proud partner of the AMUSENS Horizon Europe project is excited to invite you to a unique online co-creation workshop hosted by Science for Change for the AMUSENS project, titled “Understanding Your Environment & Listening to Your Body: Shape the Ideas Behind the Sensors of Tomorrow.”
In this interactive session, participants will explore the ideal features of future sensors that can help us better understand our surroundings—such as air quality—and listen to our bodies through signals like breath. The workshop aims to gather diverse perspectives to guide the development of innovative sensor technologies that respond to real-life needs.
By joining, you will have the opportunity to actively contribute your perspective to a European research initiative focused on human-centered innovation. No technical background is required—your insights as a user are what truly matter. As a token of appreciation, all participants will receive a €30 Amazon gift card for their time and valuable input.
The workshop will take place online on October 16th, from 15:00 to 17:00 CET, and will be conducted in English.
AMUSENS is focused on the development of a new adaptable gas sensor platform as well as a new manufacturing method of such platform by combining on-demand gas sensor material selection and additive manufacturing for the on-demand fabrication of dedicated sensors (small scale foundry). Within the gas sensor market, the consumer and appliances markets show the highest growth potential in the coming years, currently limited by the lack of high-performance devices. Microelectronic leaders in Europe are already well established in the gas sensor market and will directly benefit from AMUSENS’s new standards in low-cost and low-power gas sensor fabrication in the view to comfort European leadership in this exploding markets.
