The great celebration of science and research, which every year brings the public closer to the country’s research teams, returns on Friday, September 26 (17:00–23:00), this time at the NTUA Zografou Campus.
As always, the Researcher’s Night offers a unique opportunity for our team to showcase our research work, the innovative technologies we develop, and real-world applications that can make an impact to society.
This year, I-SENSE is participating more actively than ever, with a series of interactive activities, games, and applications that highlight the role of research in everyday life.
At our booth, our researchers will guide visitors to hands-on and educative experiences with innovative research results and applications. Visitors will be able to:
- play knowledge games inspired by technologies, explore the fascinating world of sensors,
- learn about the THETIDA project, which applies sensors to preserve coastal and underwater cultural heritage,
- discover Urban Relief, a platform that engages citizens in using sensors to help cities address challenges such as high temperatures, humidity, lack of greenery, and air pollution.
- Learn better recycling practices through Immerge, an augmented reality application
-
take the chance to “drive” a robotic rescue dog developed within the 6G-VERSUS project. This robot can enter hard-to-reach areas, stream live video, locate missing persons, and deliver first aid.
We warmly invite you to visit the I-SENSE booth and discover firsthand the technologies our researchers are passionately developing to shape a safer, smarter, and more sustainable future.
