IRIS Project: Another successful project comes to an end

IRIS project had its final review meeting on 31st October 2024 and completed its activities with the best possible way!

IRIS’s vision was to integrate and demonstrate a single platform addressed to CERTs/CSIRTs for assessing, detecting, responding to and sharing information regarding threats & vulnerabilities of IoT and AI-driven ICT systems. Aiming to help European CERTs/CSIRTs minimise the impact of cybersecurity and privacy risks, IRIS was demonstrated and validated on 3 highly realistic environments with the engagement of 3 smart cities (in Helsinki, Tallinn and Barcelona) along with the involvement of national CERTs/CSIRTs, and cybersecurity authorities. The IRIS consortium consists of 19 European partners and the project extended from September 2021 until August 2024.

I-SENSEGroup was a technical partner and technical solution provider, participated in most of the work packages and led the development of the Advanced Threat Intelligence Orchestrator and the definition of APIs for integration with the smart city’s IoT and AI-enabled infrastructures. ISenseGroup was also the project Dissemination & Communication Manager and led the dissemination, communication and clustering activities of the project.
Eleftherios Ouzounoglou, Lazaros Karagiannidis, Thanasis Douklias, Giovana Bilali and Maria Tsirigoti were the ones who participated in IRIS! Our Giovana Bilali, the day-to-day project manager and Maria Tsirigoti, the dissemination and communication manager of the project, attended the meeting and presented the related tasks.
