The Smart Attica European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) is one of Greece’s leading European Digital Innovation Hubs, supporting the digital and green transformation of SMEs, startups, industries, and public authorities through advanced technologies, pilot services, and innovation support. Its focus areas include AI, IoT, cybersecurity, smart mobility, Industry 5.0, energy, logistics, and smart cities.
Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS) and the I-SENSE Research Group are key Smart Attica partners, providing research infrastructures, AI/data platforms, 5G and IoT testbeds, living labs, and expertise in mobility, manufacturing, environment, security, XR, and health technologies. Through these capabilities, they deliver “test before invest” services for companies and public entities with the support of SIS, CMSS and ITS teams of ISENSE.
The Innovation & Networking Unit of I-SENSE ICCS/NTUA supports Smart Attica through innovation management, technology valorisation, stakeholder engagement, matchmaking, dissemination, training, and access to European innovation and funding ecosystems, helping accelerate technology adoption and digital transformation in Greece.
