Dr. Vasilis Sourlas received his Diploma degree from the Computer Engineering and Informatics Dept., Univ. of Patras, Greece, in 2004 and the M.Sc. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the same department in 2006. In 2013 he received his PhD from the Dept. of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Univ. of Thessaly (Volos), Greece. In January 2015 he joined the Electronic and Electrical Engineering Dept., UCL, London to pursue his highly prestigious Marie Curie IEF fellowship. His main interests are in the area of Computer Networking and Future Internet architectures. His research has been awarded the best paper awards in 3 international conferences (IFIP Networking 2015, IEEE LANMAN 2016 και ACM MobiArch 2016). Since October 2017 he is with the ICCS/I-SENSE group working as a Senior Researcher in EU research projects. He is also a member of the IEEE and the Technical Chamber in Greece.
