Dr. Anna Antonakopoulou holds a Dr.-Ing. Degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from NTUA, Greece. During her PhD studies she focused on Privacy aware access control of information systems based on semantic technologies and has participated in many national and European FP6, FP7 EU research projects as a researcher. She joined ISENSE Group of ICCS on 2015 and she is working as a Senior Researcher and Project Manager in Intelligent Transportation Systems field. Among others, she performed research in the field of smart mobility within the TEAM and ELVITEN EU projects, in which she was responsible for several activities including technical project management support, demand responsive routing optimization application design and pilot and user acceptance evaluation activities respectively. Currently she is involved in SHOW and R2A EU projects as well as at AVINT national funded project where she is leading the CCAM Trikala pilot. She has authored, published and presented her work in numerous academic conferences, scientific books and peer reviewed journals and has served as a reviewer for scientific journals and conferences. She is also a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece and has experience as pre-sales manager in Greek IT industry.
