On 21 March 2022, the ASSURED project drew to a close with its final conference ‘Electric Fleets for Green Cities’. Gathering project partners, the European Commission and other transport sector stakeholders, the final conference was a great chance to showcase the project’s results and how ASSURED has contributed to the large-scale uptake of electric fleets in cities by investigating and testing interoperability and standardising e-vehicles and chargers.
Taking place at Autoworld Brussels, the ASSURED Final Event was held in hybrid format. A Plenary Session was held in the morning followed by three parallel sessions in the afternoon, each discussing a different topic related to electric fleet upscale. The I-Sense Group, represented by project manager Stamatis Manganiaris, contributed to the discussions with a presentation on project results related to inductive high-power charging for light-duty vehicles.
