The I-SENSE Group of the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems invites all interested persons to express their interest for the position of Junior Test Engineer, who will be employed via work contracts for permanent collaboration with the institute.

 

As a member of the Testing Team you will part of an agile team collaborating with an extremely well known, international technology company for the automotive sector

Requirements

University Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field
Advance knowledge of English (oral & written)
Fluent in Python, C++, Linux Operating System

Desired Skills and Knowledge

Software and hardware failure investigation and debugging methods
Basic knowledge of a test framework (google test, robot, pytest, etc)
Software versioning tools (Git etc.)

Nice to have

Experience with Wireless communication systems internals (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth)
Virtualization and containerization (QEmu, Docker etc.)

Strong desire to learn and accept new challenges
Capable to communicate and collaborate with multi-disciplinary working groups in the context of international work package
Highly self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies and investigate solutions
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
Capable to work in a fast-paced environment with constantly shifting priorities and requirements
Flexible to travel abroad for short term periods
