Iasonas Kouveliotis-Lysikatos graduated from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). He completed his PhD at the NTUA Power Systems Laboratory, developing decentralized algorithms for controlling and operating distribution networks. He has also worked as a post-doctoral researcher, a research engineer in industrial companies, and a data engineer in product development for Smart Grids and electromobility applications. His research interests include Microgrids and distributed application techniques applications in smart grids with increased DG penetration, decentralized control, ancillary services provision in distribution grids, blockchain technology applications in Power Systems, electricity markets, trading, and electromobility. He is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) and IEEE.
