Zorzos Ioannis holds a Diploma degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). He is a PhD candidate and Researcher in the Biomedical Laboratory of the National Technical University of Athens, in the field of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine. His research interests are in developing and applying new techniques of machine and deep learning. Furthermore, decoding medical signals and implementing decision support systems.
Since 2019, he has been a Machine Learning Engineer/Researcher in both industry and academic fields. His main responsibilities as a Machine Learning Engineer include research, implementation, training and validation of machine and deep learning architectures. He has worked extensively with medical databases, as well as posture databases (face and emotion recognition).
