Stelios Kossieris is a Researcher and Scientific Project Manager at the I-SENSE Group of Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS). He acquired his M.Eng. Diploma graduating from the School of Rural, Surveying and Geoinformatics Engineering at National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) with specialization in Photogrammetry, and he graduated from the M.Sc. Program of Geodesy and Geoinformation Science at Technical University of Berlin (TUB) with specialization in Remote Sensing and Computer Vision.
He is currently working in the areas of Earth Observation, Remote Sensing, Geoinformation and Machine Learning focusing on the extraction of geophysical information from the exploitation of Satellite data for different business domains. He was working in Planet Labs as Satellite Data Processing Engineer between April 2021 and September 2022. Also, he contributed to the tasks of TIDOP Research Group within the framework of the European Research program ‘HeritageCare’.
