Nasia Balakera is a Junior Researcher and Scientific Project Manager at I-SENSE Group of Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS) since February 2023. She acquired her integrated Master’s Diploma graduating from the School of Electric & Computer Engineering at National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in 2022 with specialization in Telecommunications and Computer Networks, while her thesis was related to the conversion of the national water distribution network to smart with the use of smart meters and IoT protocols.
She completed her four-month internship at I-SENSE in January 2023, which was focused on the PLC’s programming and IIoT networking integrations, and she is currently working in the areas of Smart Integrated Systems, IIoT networks, Industry 4.0 & 5.0 technologies, Smart manufacturing.
