Markos Antonopoulos holds a diploma degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, an MSc in Applied Mathematics and a PhD in computational oncology, all from the National Technical University of Athens.

He has worked for many years as a STEM teacher in schools and private lessons. Since 2013 he has been working as a researcher in ICCS NTUA, focusing on mathematical and computational modeling, algorithm development and computer vision.
