Ioannis Karagiannis is a Computer Vision and AI/ML Software Engineer at I-SENSE Group of Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS) since March 2024. He received the Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Patras, Greece, in 2012, and his M.Sc. degree in Systems, Control, and Robotics from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, Sweden, in 2015.
He has hands-on experience in positioning systems and internet of things in the elevator industry in Sweden (2015-2016), in robotics, augmented reality, haptics and SLAM algorithms in the mobile communication industry in Sweden (2018-2021), in computer vision, deep learning, artificial intelligence and object detection/tracking in the defense industry in Greece (2021-2024).
