Giorgos Papavassiliou has received a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a M.Eng. from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens. He has a strong scientific background and more than 20 years of work experience in the IT industry as a Project Manager in the areas of Knowledge Management, Data Analytics and Enterprise Search. As a researcher, he has participated in several National and EU funded projects and his research activities include analytics, forensics, cybersecurity and technologies in the fight against crime & cybercrime.
Since January 2022, he has been appointed as a project manager in the I-SENSE group of Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS).
