About George Konstantinidis

George Konstantinidis received his Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Technical University of Crete (TUC). He also holds an M.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from TUC, specializing in the optimization of Electric Vehicles’ (EVs) charging. Currently, he is a Ph.D. candidate at the Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU), focusing on the optimization of a large fleet of EV charging infrastructure, while considering the increasing integration of renewable energy sources, emerging technologies such as Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) and EVs’ driver demands. His research also aims to mitigate the impact of charging on the electrical grid, and to develop economic charging strategies. He has been actively involved in implementing EU and nationally funded projects in the fields of Renewable Energy and Climate Change. Additionally, he has previously served as a laboratory assistant at both TUC and HMU.
