Eleftheria Tetoula-Tsonga is a Data Scientist that holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Ioannina. She acquired her Master’s Diploma in Data Science from the Sapienza University of Rome, Italy in 2022. Her thesis was on Earth Observation, and specifically on the Estimation of the Snow Cover Extent in Central Italy using high-resolution satellite data and machine learning techniques.
Throughout her career, Eleftheria has held research positions at various scientific institutes such as CETEMPS, Universita degli Studi dell’Aquila and Sapienza Universita di Roma. She joined the I-Sense Group of ICCS in January 2024 and she is currently working on developing a web-based automatic dataset generation, while also conducting research to assess the current state of the art of various projects.
