Dr. Maria Dekavalla received her BSc in Mining and Metallurgical Engineering in 2007 and an MSc degree in Geoinformatics in 2011 from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). She has also obtained a PhD in Remote Sensing from NTUA, School of Rural Surveying Engineering in 2019.
Her research interests are in the fields of remote sensing, geomorphometry, object-based image analysis, machine learning, and computer vision. She has published several articles in scientific journals and she also serves as a reviewer in international scientific journals.
