Dr. Dimitris Lygkonis has graduated from the Mathematics Department of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. He also holds an MSc and a PhD in Probability/Mathematical Physics from the University of Warwick, UK specialising in critical/supercritical Stochastic PDE and KPZ (Kardar-Parisi-Zhang) universality.

After finishing his graduate studies, he went on working as a Software Engineer in Research in the FinTech industry in London, UK.

His research interests include: Backend Systems Development, Distributed Systems, DevOps and Cloud Computing.
