Dimitrios Bliziotis is a Researcher and Technical Project Manager at the I-SENSE Group of Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS). He received his Diploma (BSc & MEng) in the Department of Rural, Surveying and Geoinformatics Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), where he also received his M.Sc. in the domain of Geoinformatics and Remote Sensing.

He has experience in the fields of Earth Observation and Geointelligence and his main areas of research and work are the integration of GIS technologies, Artificial intelligence, Data mining, Remote sensing, Photogrammetry, Data analytics & OSINT technologies for different business domains, including the Security, Defense, Emergency & Environmental sector.

He has coordinated, managed and overseen project deliveries for medium-sized teams (30 people) for ICT, Earth Observation & GIS projects for clients like: National MoDs, EC, FRONTEX, EU SATCEN, ESA, EEA, JRC and other COPERNICUS entrusted entities.
