Dimitra Maria Savvani holds a MSc degree from the Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics of the University of Patras. During her studies she participated in the R&D of various projects for the Robotics Club of the University of Patras. She also interned at IridaLabs S.A, where she pursued the navigation of an AGV in a simulated warehouse. She completed her studies with her thesis “Development and simulation of swarm intelligence techniques for the navigation of unmanned quadcopters in the natural environment”. She has previous work experience on software development using Robot Operating System (ROS), directed towards collision avoidance and path finding algorithms mostly associated with UAVs.
